Lulu’s Road to Recovery: A Bulldog’s Journey to Better Health

When Last Hope foster Judy received a call about a Bulldog named Lulu needing rescue, she had no idea just how special the little dog would become.

Lulu entered rescue from a local animal control facility and quickly charmed everyone she met. But it soon became clear that she needed extensive medical care before she could be adopted.

Over the following months, Lulu underwent several procedures, including surgery to improve her breathing and treatment for ongoing eye issues. Thanks to the care of Last Hope’s veterinary partners, she began experiencing greater comfort and improved quality of life.

Throughout every appointment and recovery period, Lulu remained sweet, affectionate, and eager for attention.

Her foster describes her as friendly, loving, and happiest when cuddling with the people around her. While her medical journey continues, Lulu is surrounded by the love and care she deserves.
