No-Kill Commitment
We do not believe in the destruction of healthy pets. Every healthy animal in our care has a right to life, no matter how long it takes to find their home.
Making furever pawsible!
Last Hope, Inc. has been a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 1984, dedicated to saving abandoned, unwanted, and helpless dogs and cats. Every animal we receive is immediately examined by one of our veterinary partners and provided with the medical care they need before being placed in our volunteer Foster Home Network — spanning seven counties across the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area.
Our animals stay in loving foster homes until they find their forever family. Sick or injured animals receive dedicated care until they are fully recovered, and no animal is made available for adoption until they are healthy. All animals adopted through Last Hope are spayed or neutered.
Last Hope does not believe in the destruction of healthy pets. Humane euthanasia is considered only on the recommendation of a veterinarian for animals suffering from incurable illness or fatal injury.
Everything we do comes back to one simple conviction: every animal deserves a chance at a loving home.
